Once you have completed the legal formalities at a Register Office, you can exchange beautiful, personalised vows in the location of your choice. Perhaps you would like a beach, a garden or a traditional wedding venue as the setting for your special day.

I can help you to choose readings, poems and music. You might want to play your favourite song, for example, from Ed Sheeran, as well a hymn. There are no rules. Your celebration can be totally non-religious, but if you’d like a prayer or two, that’s fine also.

Many couples opt simply for the traditional exchange of wedding rings. Many like to express their love with additional symbolic rituals. How about  simple handfasting with beautiful ribbons? Would you like to drink from the Scottish loving cup, the Quaich? Perhaps you would like to express your unity with the lighting of a candle?
